Following the national trend in Canada, employment in Ontario continued its upward trend in March, with 18,000 new jobs created.
The unemployment rate in the province is currently sitting at 8.8%, according to data from the latest Labour Force Survey released by Statistics Canada.
The services sector was the main source of growth, in areas such as trade, education and public administration.
