Superintendent

Location: Alberta, Edmonton

The successful candidate must have a recognized trade background, and at least 10 years organizing multiple trade sites in a senior capacity, as well as strong interpersonal skills, and be able to work for extended periods on remote project sites.

The qualified individuals are responsible for all field aspects of the project’s budget, schedule, safety and general performance.

This includes mentoring, coaching and supervising foremen/field personnel, communicating with the client and unions, selecting construction methodology, and directing subcontractor coordination. Other major responsibilities include timely scheduling, coordination and effective cost control as they pertain to labour, materials, and equipment, ensuring project profitability, and developing and ensuring compliance with the project quality control plan. They must also ensure that all work is safe, of high quality and that all company and client procedures are being met.
