Position: Construction, Construction Management
With a minimum of 5 years industrial field experience, the successful candidate will be providing support to our project based field staff with incident reporting, safety orientation, audits and training.
Major responsibilities include defining and monitoring environmental, safety, and loss prevention policies, practices, and procedures for all district construction activities, assisting in the preparation of project specific safety plans, and the preparation and presentation of monthly safety performance statistics.
As a resource providing information on environmental and safety legislative standards and regulations, the successful candidate will also be responsible for mentoring and communicating with the team of HSE coordinators, liaising with clients, owners and other subcontractors, and the review of investigation reports, environmental incident reports, medical or first aid cases, and various other reports.
The qualified candidate will have completed a recognized post secondary Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) program.
