Position: Construction, Estimator
With a minimum of 7 years construction estimating experience, this civil or mechanical engineering graduate will be responsible for quantity takeoffs, site investigations, analyzing specifications and bid preparation.
Other responsibilities include taking bids and analyzing bid recaps, soliciting subcontractors and suppliers, and making detailed specification and drawing reviews.
As an effective communicator, the proven ability to maintain client and subcontractor relationships is also key. Preference will be given to those with experience on mid to large scale heavy industrial construction projects, and to those with a piping background.
The successful candidate must be proficient with the various Microsoft Office applications, able to work in a busy team orientated environment, adapt quickly to changing priorities and perform tasks with a high degree of accuracy. They must also have strong interpersonal, organizational and multi-tasking skills.
