QUALIFICATIONS:
-Graduate from an approved Practical Nurse Program.
-Current Active Practice Permit with the College of Licensed Practice Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA)
-Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
-Recent acute care nursing experience preferred.
-Ability to maintain collaborative relationships with all members of the multidisciplinary team.
-Basic computer skills an asset.
-Current successful completion of a BCLS program is required.
-Ability to work as a member of a team and to request and accept direction as required.
-Demonstrates critical thinking skills, within scope of practice, including clinical judgement, problem solving skills, and strong decision making ability.
